Cause Description:
Our mission is to promote, encourage and increase the knowledge, appreciation and practice of the arts, especially theatre for young people through, although not limited to, the presentation of published plays, original works, classes, workshops and outreach programs. The program is based in Hunterdon County , NJ and is open to young people ages 6-18 extending into the greater community of the surrounding areas of New Jersey. We strive to enrich young people through theatre, offering an alternative activity during their leisure time which promotes self esteem, collaboration and commitment. Our program nurtures the individual while building an ensemble. Students become good audience members as well, developing skills such as good listening and keen observation. Theatre Arts is an activity where all can participate.
