Cause Description:
Camp Rainbow is a 5 day camp dedicated to pediatric cancer patients and survivors between the ages of 6-17 in Mississippi. Camp Rainbow is in close relation to Blair E. Batson Children's Cancer Clinic. The nurses and doctors volunteer their time at the camp so children who are currently going through chemotherapy can still enjoy the activities of camp. In 2013, all funding from the American Cancer Society was lost. All donations to pediatric camps nationwide were cut. Due to this, a group of volunteers is working tirelessly to make sure Camp Rainbow can still be a blessing to so many kids and their families.
