Cause Description:
Vision is Healthy, locally grown food for all. Mission: Creating a healthier community through food education, increasing access to nutritious food and supporting local farms. Our programs are Feeding the Families and the Food School. We assist low-income families become members at a local farm where they receive fresh vegetables throughout the growing season. The Food School provides education to adults and children about growing, preparing and preserving vegetables and why fresh vegetables are important to a healthy body.
