Cause Description:
7 Year Derek Schwab's diabetes alert dog "Sunshine" 5 1/2 month golden retriever started barking at 2:37 AM on Christmas morning 2013. Derek's mom, Lishka, noticed she was having balance problems and just vomited. She immediately took "Sunshine" to the veterinarian at Lewiston Veterinary Clinic, where she is being treated. The veterinarian's best diagnosis was meningitis. "Sunshine" required emergency hospitalization, and will be hospitalized continuously to give her the best shot at recovery. Both of Derek's parents work full time, but this is a very expensive emergency, and we would like to solicit donations to help them with the veterinary costs, which will be directly paid to the Lewistown Veterinary Clinic.
