Cause Description:
Wolfsong Ranch Foundation and Wildlife Sanctuary is dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of wolves,wolfdogs,and other wild animals removed from the wild by humans and then relinquished or abandoned. We provide public education about predator and raptor species and their environmental needs. We promote the preservation of habitats needed by these species. Wolfsong Ranch is located in Hidalgo County, New Mexico and is home to over three hundred and eleven wolves and wolf dogs who have come to us as rescues. We also are home to other animals who have been rescued from abusive or neglectful situations including horses, mountain lion, and many indigenous animals that call our 80 acre adjacent refuge home. At Wolfsong Ranch, we are working to create an environment which brings balance and healing to the animals living here and the humans who choose to become involved with us. We also work to bring healing and balance to our Earth. A critical part of our work is to sponsor events and public education which promote preservation of wild lands and an understanding of delicate ecosystems.
