Cause Description:
Safe Haven Wildlife Rehabilitation Center was formed as a non-profit 501(c)3 corporation to provide care for orphaned, injured or otherwise debilitated wildlife by licensed wildlife rehabilitators and trained volunteers. Safe Haven also encourages and participates in the education and training of wildlife rehabilitators as part of the State licensing process, as well as cooperation and networking between wildlife rehabilitators. Safe Haven strives to educate the public about wildlife and the environment that humans and wildlife share. Safe Haven is located in the Granby, CT area, but primarily serves northern Connecticut.
