Our mission to ensure every child in Palm Beach County is afforded a court-appointed volunteer GAL to Speak Up! and advocate for their best interests. Every child, especially the victims of abuse and neglect, deserve a voice and we are committed to ensuring they get one. Speak Up! For Kids effectively raises funds for Palm Beach County’s Guardian ad Litem Program to recruit, train and support Guardian ad Litem volunteers (GALs), who serve as court-appointed advocates for the best interests of abused, abandoned, and neglected children involved in dependency court proceedings. As a public-to-private partnership, Speak Up! For Kids provides vital support to the Guardian ad Litem Program, enabling it to represent more children.
