Cause Description:
Wounded Veterans Fund is in the process of receiving a 501(c) 3 tax exemption to become a national non-profit organization. We provide: Repairs – By teaming up with many local contractors we are able to provide necessary repairs to existing homes that Veterans currently live in. One of the most commonly found problems in existing homes is a leaky roof or general electrical repair to the home. New Construction – Sometimes the addition of a new room is needed. Sometimes a wheel chair ramp needs to be put into place. Whatever the need our team of experts will get the job done, whether big or small. Home Modification – Widening doorways, hallways, or rooms in general isn’t an easy task, but to a vet in need it is a necessity. Our specialty is modifying homes to allow for accessibility of wheelchairs and other disability aid devices. No project is too large. Counseling Support – Sometimes more is needed to overcome the struggles of dealing with a new life at home. By helping Veterans receive the proper counseling they need we can effectively help their transition home. Piece of Mind – At the end of the day our goal is to help Veterans feel more comfortable in their own home. Comfort and safety are our priority when helping the brave men and women who served for our freedom.
