Northern Lights Alternatives is a nonprofit organization which, since 1987, has served children and families infected with and affected by HIV/AIDS in the New York metropolitan area. Our programs are volunteer-based. We visit children in hospitals, host parties throughout the year, and have a mentoring program, "SuperFriends" which offers special one-on-one attention to youngsters 5-17 years old.
