Coast to Coast Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization ran by volunteers and funded entirely by donations. Our mission is to support the members of our community in their time of need, and work towards a greater good. We are tireless in our efforts to feed the hungry and clothe the poor. We help those seeking help in a time of need. Our Foundation serves people of all races, creeds, and religions. We do not discriminate. Wherever there is need or injustice, Coast to Coast Foundation will offer its resources regardless of economic status or affiliation. We merely support our fellow citizens, and serve as a guiding light. Coast to Coast Foundation promises to provide any underprivileged, abused, neglected, handicapped, or needy child a respite of safe-haven, food, and an opportunity for both emotional and educational guidance. Our Projects: S.A.C.K. (SERVING A COMMUNITY WITH KINDNESS) The Coast to Coast Foundation provides approximately 150-250 SACK lunches on a monthly basis. The SACK lunch consists of: peanut butter/jelly sandwich, ramen noodle, water, juice, granola bar, chips, cookies and fresh fruit. We feed the homeless community every 1st and 3rd Sunday, rain or shine. The approximate cost is $3 per lunch. To sponsor one Sunday the cost is $450 for 150 lunches or $750 for 250 lunches. Our goal is to provide this service every Sunday. Please help us reach this goal. - YES I CAN! (Scholarships) The Coast to Coast Foundation provides 12 scholarships quarterly to the PYLUSD McKinney Vento Program in Orange County. The McKinney Vento Program is a statewide mandated program that serves the homeless students in our school districts. Our goal is to expand this program by providing student scholarships in every district in Orange County. Currently there are 30,000 homeless students identified in Orange County. Help us fulfill this need by donating a minimum of $100 to sponsor a child's scholarship. HOLIDAY MEALS The Coast to Coast Foundation is committed in serving 400 hot meals to our homeless community on Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. The meal consists of: turkey, ham, stuffing, corn, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry, yams, rolls, salad, pies/cookies/cake, water and soda. The approximate cost is $10 per person. Our unique program provides most of our meals to-go. Designated volunteer teams deliver directly to the homeless population restricted to travel on foot or have no means to get to us. Additional items we provide during the holidays: Care Kits: hygiene products, toothpaste, toothbrush, soap, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, face towel, feminine products, q-tips, mouthwash, body wash, razor, comb. The cost is $7 per care kit package. Grocery Bags: ramen noodles, water, juice, granola bars, canned raviolis, Vienna sausage, canned tuna and fruit cups. (pop-tops preferred for any canned item.) Clothing: we provide new and donated clothing, blankets & sleeping bags. Items provided vary on donation. Help us fulfill on this for our community.
