Mission ~ To put an end to breed specific cruelty and prejudice and to build a permanent no-kill shelter for dogs of all breeds, unlike any other in the Portland area. Rescue abused, neglected, abandoned and homeless dogs, including those scheduled for euthanasia in animal shelters; Passion for Pit Bulls and special expertise in training, socializing and rehabilitating this magnificent and misunderstood breed; Educate the public, children and owners on the proper training and care for all dogs; Advocate for safe, humane practices and for the welfare of all dogs; Work with low-income families and the homeless to find food, veterinary care and other resources for their dogs; Individualized assessment, personalized training and compassionate behavior modification for your dog.
