Our mission: Bluegrass Senior Dog Rescue is a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing homeless and abandoned senior dogs, primarily from shelters. We work with committed volunteers, local veterinarians, and boarding facilities to provide senior dogs with high quality vet care, good food, a loving, comforting home to live out the remainder of their lives. We also work together with shelters and rescues to promote rescue, foster and adoption of senior dogs. BGSDR provides education to the community on the joys and challenges of caring for senior pets.
