Cause Description:
Ambassador Pit Bull Rescue (APBR) is a local breed specific rescue/placement organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and responsible rehoming of neglected, surrendered or otherwise homeless Pit Bull type dogs in the DC Metropolitan Area (Northern Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia). Concurrently, APBR is dedicated to educating the public about responsible dog ownership, proper care, and training. APBR is a 501(c)(3) recognized organization and all-volunteer rescue organization consisting of seasoned rescuers who have been rescuing and placing Pit Bull type dogs for many years. None of APBR’s officers, directors or rescuers receives any salary or compensation of any kind. Additionally, all administrative costs are kept to an absolute minimum, as every penny spent on administration is considered money taken away from the dogs.
