Cause Description:
GOAL & MISSION To enrich Iredell County through the presentation of choral music and the continuing development of the choral arts. We will strive to maintain excellence, diversity, and a commitment to choral education. The ultimate goal of the ICS will be the continuing search for a permanent, central location to better serve our community. PURPOSE To tri-annually produce a season of choral music incorporating high musical quality. To achieve this, we will offer three separate choirs per year which will rehearse up to three times per week in order to prepare for concerts and events. Additionally, we will strive to enhance music education within our community by affording qualified middle, high school, and college students, as well as adults the opportunity to participate in our choir. PRIMARY OBJECTIVES Ongoing improvement of the ICS’s artistic product, and the development of greater involvement and interest in choral events within the Iredell community. We will continuously work towards our goal of finding a permanent and central location for all rehearsals, concerts, and events, and will continue making musical dreams come true, both for society and community members alike.
