Therapeutic Horsemanship of El Paso (THEP) is a non-profit 501c3 organization affiliated with the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH). Our therapeutic riding center is located in El Paso, Texas, and has served the Borderland area – which includes El Paso, Las Cruces, Fort Bliss and Juarez- for over 23 years. Equine-assisted therapeutic experiences are far more than mere “pony rides”. Rather, they are a complex and exciting means of therapy that produce tangible physical, psychological, cognitive, social, and educational benefits. THEP provides therapeutic riding sessions, privately, in small groups and with camps designed to meet the needs of each individual.
