Cause Description:
Our efforts are focused on saving the lives of pit bull terriers, staffordshire terriers and other so called "bully" breeds. They are the dogs who are most often discarded, abused, abandoned and exploited. Mission: Chicago Pit Stop Rescue's mission is to save the most urgent dogs and provide them with a loving "pit stop" - which includes full vetting and a spot in a foster home - while on their way to their forever home. While we aim to save as many dogs as possible, our mission is to save as many dogs as we can while providing them with top notch vetting, treatment and training as we recognize those to be key elements in the dog finding a forever home.
