Cause Description:
SAORO was founded in 2006 by one of the "Lost Boys of Sudan" to provide a safe haven for orphaned children in his home village of Pariang. On July 3, Gumriak Orphanage and Community School opened to 16 vulnerable, high-risk orphaned children (5 girls and 11 boys) with an additional 50 as day students; today we serve 105 and the need is relentless.
