The Center for Discovery has grown from its roots in 1948 as United Cerebral Palsy of Sullivan County to become a magnet research and service institution where individuals from around the state and around the world travel to receive highly advanced medical care and access to ground-breaking research. The Center for Discovery, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit; a nationally known provider of educational, health and residential services for children and adults with severe disabilities and medical frailties, including a growing number of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders. The Center offers individuals – and their families – innovative educational, clinical, social, creative arts and recreational experiences designed to enrich their lives through personal accomplishment.
