The Cammy Lee Leukemia Foundation, Inc. (CLLF) is a non-profit health service organization serving the Asian Pacific Islander (API) community. For an API patient with leukemia, aplastic anemia, or other fatal blood diseases, a stem cell donation may be their only hope for life; but the chance of a stem cell match is 1:20,000 to 1:1,000,000, and the greatest likelihood is from a fellow API. Of the almost 4 million volunteer donors in the national registry less than 7% are API. CLLF hosts stem cell recruitment drives, provides patient and family advocacy, and educates the general public about the hope of life for the API community. CLLF is an official recruitment group of the National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP).
