Rubicon Programs Incorporated is a non-profit, community based organization helping persons with disabilities, homeless or economically disadvantaged individuals and families attain greater self-sufficiency and becomemore active participants in the community. Rubicon operates successful business ventures and employment programs, develops and manages affordable housing and offers comprehensive mental health and support services. Each year, hundreds of people participate in Rubicon's comprehensive continuum of programs and services. Established in 1973 in a Richmond, California storefront by community volunteers, Rubicon is now a nationally recognized agency with over one hundred employees and ventures extending throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.
