Cause Description:
Shiba Inu Rescue of Texas (SIRTx) is based on volunteers dedicated to rescuing and rehoming adoptable Shiba Inu and Shiba Inu mixes in the state of Texas and the surrounding states (Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas and sometimes New Mexico). We are not a shelter, but rather a network of volunteer foster homes all over the state. Due to our small size, we tend only to take in those Shiba Inu that are in high risk of being euthanized and we cannot take in owner surrenders at this time. However, we will assist with the adoption process for a donation. We also help animal shelters and new owners with the adoption process directly from the shelters.
