Cause Description:
Our Mission: Is to rescue helpless, neglected, abused and/or mistreated horses from bad situations. We rehabilitate and then place horses in good homes. We are also here to help people who have fallen on hard times by accepting their equine friends into a responsible caring establishment. If a horse as fallen victim to a bad or unfortunate circumstance, we take it in. Upon arrival we welcome the horse(s) and then our rehabilitation process begins. We bring all horses back into good health, thus giving them a second chance at a long life. For some ... the stay is longer than others. But, ultimately, our goal is to eventually place every rescue in the best home that properly fits the needs for the equine. Adopting out on contracts helps to assure the horse's safety and well-being as it makes the journey into a new horse beginning. We believe the more you know, the more you’ll realize you can make a positive change in the lives of these horses. We are a Florida Certified 501(c)3 Non-profit Horse Rescue here to help hooves and hands in need. We have a small facility on personal property and, at the present time, we are able to accept a maximum of 22 horses and ponies. We hope to be able to access larger property that will enable us to take care of more animals. To develope a horse rescue program that rehabilitates and then re-homes ... creating a lifelong partnership between each adopted horse and its new owner. We now have multiple locations at this time which now has allowed our capacity numbers of our facilites to change. So we are now able to rescue and assist many more equine friends. Which also means we are in more need of more help please lend a helping hand and help us heal hooves and hearts with us on day at a time.
