Cause Description:
My name is Michael Lopez. On July 19, my local youth group and I will be attending a mission trip to Brazil. We need a total of $2,000 each for this trip. Right now I have a little over $400. Parts of our fund-raising for this trip include working for different members of the church and donations. I recently graduated from high school and plan on going to college to study Youth Ministries. I’d like to become a youth pastor in Puerto Rico someday. I feel that this mission trip would benefit me greatly in learning the foreign mission field and in learning the true meaning of “missions.” I am sending this letter to ask if anyone would like to donate at least $5 - or whatever you can spare. It would be greatly appreciated. It seems like a small amount to ask for, but God can do amazing things with our missions team. We will have almost forty people attending this trip. The missionary family has even asked me to preach while we are there. I’d also like to ask for continuous prayers for myself and the group that we can grow spiritually and prepare our hearts for this trip so that we may be affective witnesses for Christ.
