The Constitutional Rights Foundation Chicago helps young people develop the skills, knowledge, and attitudes necessary to serve their communities and nation as active, responsible citizens. A nonprofit, nonpartisan organization, CRFC has conducted law-related education programs for elementary and secondary school students and their teachers for over twenty years. CRFC was founded in 1974 as part of the Constitutional Rights Foundation in Los Angeles. In 1990, the Chicago office established itself as an independent 501 (c)(3) organization. CRFC and CRF-LA continue to work together on several national projects.
