Cause Description:
Pawsitive Reinforcement Animal Rescue re-trains all of the dogs that come through our program so that when they arrive at their new home they make the perfect addition to the adoptive family. Selected dogs who meet temperament and behavioral requirements go through a more extensive training and will be paired with a physically or mentally disabled Veteran returning home from active duty. These dogs will act as physical or emotional support service dogs and will be trained specifically with the vet's needs in mind and then given to the veteran free of charge. All dogs that do not meet that part of our programs' requirements will be put up for adoption and we will screen for a family that will be a suitable match for pup's lifestyle.
