The Darren Miller Memorial Fund is a fund at the Thomas County Community Foundation, based in Colby, Kansas. The purpose of the fund is to provide food for kids in Thomas County suffering from food insecurity. Donations that come in will be assumed to be endowed (donation is invested and we spend the interest and earnings from it. The principal is never touched, therefore providing income forever to help feed these kids). If someone wants their entire donation to be passthrough (completely spent) then that needs to be notated on the check.
