Cause Description:
The Center for Youth and Family Solutions will provide strengths- based, family-centered social services to individuals and families in need. Services will be provided in the client’s homes, outreach locations, and in our offices based in Rock Island, Peoria, Galesburg, Macomb, Danville, Champaign, Lincoln, LaSalle, Springfield and Bloomington, Illinois. Services will be funded primarily through state and federal government contracts, grants, United Ways, and charitable contributions. Primary service areas include: •Behavioral Health - mental health counseling to children, youth, couples, families, and adults on an outpatient and outreach basis. •Residential Services -24 hour therapeutic residential treatment services to children aged 6-17 in a State of Illinois licensed and approved and COA accredited facility for up to 16 children and youth as referred by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services. •Foster Care and Intact Family Services – child welfare intervention services including in-home and foster care; including child welfare casework, clinical and adoption services to children aged Infant to 21 years of age and their families as referred by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services. •At Risk Youth Prevention and Intervention – diversion and intervention services to stabilize children aged 6-17 and their families in crisis, to prevent juvenile delinquency, and to divert youth at risk of involvement in the child welfare or juvenile justice systems. •Senior In-Home Services – mental health counseling, casework and volunteer support services to seniors in their homes in order to maintain independence and improve their quality of life. •Private Adoption - home study and adoption placement services, adoption searches, post adoption support and respite.
