ICAN of Nashville is the local chapter of the International Cesarean Awareness Network that serves the Middle Tennessee area. We promote evidence based information regarding pregnancy, birth and VBAC as well as offer emotional and educational support to mothers and families. The International Cesarean Awareness Network, Inc. (ICAN) is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to improve maternal-child health by preventing unnecessary cesareans through education, providing support for cesarean recovery, and promoting Vaginal Birth After Cesarean (VBAC).
