Cause Description:
One of the earliest of Boys Town’s national sites, Boys Town North Florida has been serving children and families since 1983. Youth with special treatment needs find a safe place to live in the site’s community-based Treatment Foster Homes, while other youth are cared for in Foster Family Services. Boys Town North Florida also has five Treatment Family Homes in Tallahassee. In these homes, youth learn independent-living skills that help them find success with their families, in school and in their community. These services and programs touch the lives of 6,100 children and families in North Florida each year.
