Courage to Change Ranches is licensed with the Colorado Department of Human Services, Division of Behavioral Health. The science-based program is based on 8 years of addiction rehabiitation research and development. The program is founded on integrating holistic scientific evidence-based medical and psychological modalities for a sustainable addiction recovery. It has been designed with the understanding that the body feeds the brain, and the brain guides the body, and that body and brain are not "parts," but rather the foundation for the whole body. We have learned that you can't manage what you can't measure. So we measure and manage. The C2C program draws from time-tested bio-psychosocial therapies, as well as prevailing neuroscience, with a "systems" approach to recovery. The whole person is treated; body, brain, and spirit – to heal the many aspects of a person's life that have been destroyed not only by addiction, but the underlying causes (post traumatic stress, trauma, and abuse). The intensive residential program ranges in length from 28 to 365 days and provides a neuro-biological regime, strategically integrated with true Colorado tranquility, lifestyle-changing experiences, life planning skills, and the application of spiritual balance.
