Cause Description:
T-Ran & 22Visionz is a Christian band within the Christian organization, 22Visionz Ministries. The band originated seven years ago on the campus of Lee University in Cleveland, TN. As founder of 22Visionz, Terran (T-Ran) Gilbert says, “We’re not just a name, we are a vision, we hope to truly be a light in this dark world for this and many generations to come that will become a movement." T-Ran & 22Visionz have opened in concert for artists such as the Crabb Family, Pettidee, Grits, and Grammy- Dove award winners Casting Crowns, Steven Curtis Chapman and Kirk Franklin. They have also shared the same stage with artists such as Chris Tomlin, Natalie Grant, and Building 429. Currently, T-Ran & 22Visionz is working on their first debut album entitled “Live and not Die” with Kene Bell of Ghostown Productions, which has produced contemporary gospel artists such as Toby Mac and Out of Eden. T-Ran & 22Visionz is excited about the buzz their E.P has generated and are excited about the future of the project. The E.P. contains the group’s five hit songs and since its production, over 700,000 copies have been circulated throughout the United States through churches and on the streets. Their songs have also been played on several radios stations in Chattanooga, Atlanta, New York, Nashville, and Jamaica. They had the pleasure of joining Lee University's campus pastor, Jimmy Harper, on TBN. They have been interviewed by WDEF News Channel 12 and WTVC News Channel 9 in Chattanooga, and sung on the Babbie Mason TV Show in Atlanta, GA. T-Ran & 22Visionz also very privileged to be the first Christian group to sing before 33 senators in Nashville, TN. Through their God-given talents, T-Ran & 22Visionz has been recognized for its positive influences within the pages of several newspapers and magazines, such as the Chattanooga Times Free Press, Chattanooga Christian Family Magazine, The Lee Clarion (newspaper of Lee University), Fish Magazine and the Church of God Evangel. They also made the front cover of the Bradley News Weekly. T-Ran & 22Visionz has paved the road in hopes to bring excitement from the stage to the streets and has influenced many lives by reflecting the light of Jesus Christ through music (Matt. 6:33).
