Cause Description:
Mission - Cultivating young leaders through the discipline of music training. The organization provides leadership skills through music training for youths grades 2-12. Youth learn piano classes, music theory, handbell and handchime chime ringing. The Program Music Theory Classes Participants learn the fundamentals of music; notation, timing, chord structure, progressions and arranging, through fun and innovative activities. Group Keyboard Lessons Youths receive instructions in piano technic. They are required to master, memorize and perform a repertoire of music. Handbell and Chime Choir All students participate in the Jubilee Ringers handbell choir. Younger children perform using hand chimes. The Jubilee Ringers present concerts at churches and community organizations. Ringing bells enables participants to immediately perform before audiences, thus providing encouragement and building self esteem. Scholarship in the form of savings bonds are provide to students who successfully complete the requirements of the program. Leadership They learn leadership skills and are responsible for program set up, teaching, planning and conducting .
