Our Mission: The Child Abuse Prevention Center directly serves at-risk children and families in crisis to prevent and break the generational cycle of child abuse. We value every child’s right to grow up in a safe and nurturing home environment. The Orange County Child Abuse Prevention Center is the county’s leading 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization focused exclusively on the prevention of child abuse. Our early intervention programs directly serve at-risk children and families in crisis to prevent and break the generational cycle of child abuse. Our programs provide critically needed parenting education, case management, and mental health services to families at-risk of abuse and have a well-documented record of strengthening and improving parent-child relationships, working to prevent child abuse before it occurs. By providing families with the tools and education they need to build nurturing homes, we are breaking the generational cycle of abuse. One child at a time, one family at a time, we are creating stronger families and healthier communities.
