Hamlin Fistula USA’s mission is to raise funds for the activities of the Addis Ababa Hamlin Fistula Hospital, Hamlin regional hospitals, and the Hamlin College of Midwives and to raise awareness of the issue of obstetric fistula – a devastating childbirth injury. The Hamlin Fistula Hospitals are dedicated to holistically treating Ethiopian women of their injuries, rehabilitating and reintegrating them into society, and most importantly instilling in them a sense of dignity and self worth.
