Founded in 1978, Family Resource Center of South Florida’s mission is the prevention and treatment of child abuse and neglect through the strengthening of families. The agency provides integrated care for children in the foster care system, parent education classes, mental health services, substance abuse counseling, adoptions, and aid in the licensing and oversight of foster homes. Over the last 33 years, we have been dedicated to supporting our community’s families in crisis and breaking the cycle of child abuse. In the last year, Family Resource Center provided services to more than 2,500 children, adolescents and adults.
