John Paul II Academy
Racine, Wisconsin
Cause Description:
John Paul II Academy is the product of a successful merging
of Sacred Heart and St. John Nepomuk schools which
occurred back in 2007. The school is located on the campus of
the former Sacred Heart school in Racine although several
school functions also still occur on the St. John Nepomuk
parish/school grounds.
Families from both Sacred Heart and St. John Nepomuk are
the cornerstones of the JPIIA school community. However, the
school has active and supportive families from many other
parishes including St. Louis and St. Richard just to name a
few. The school also has several non-Catholic families.
Ethnically, the school promotes a multi-cultural environment
and has an ever growing Hispanic population as well as
several black and Asian families. JPIIA does not discriminate
against any race, sex or religion and encourages diversity to
give our students a "real world" atmosphere. Our faculty and
staff are a mix of males and females.
With a school, church, campus, community thought process
John Paul II Academy will open it's doors to over three dozen
new students and over two dozen new families for the 2011-
12 school year. We encourage you to visit our school anytime
and see why many are making Cardinal nation their spiritual,
academic and social home.
