Our living history group tells the story about the military contributions of African Americans in the formative years of other country. We portray the 1st Rhode Island Regiment of Foot in American Revolution, the 6th Regiment Infantry United States Colored in the Civil War at living history events, reenactments and ceremonies. It is our mission to honor these true freedom fighters, and inspire others to this proud but long neglected, national heritage.
