Cause Description:
Pugs Unlimited Gives Shelter Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) Non-Profit organization. We are a small group of dedicated volunteers with one mission - to help pugs and pug mixes in need. We provide the care, time and love the dogs need until we find their appropriate forever home. We rescue dogs from shelters and from homes where they can no longer remain. We are not a shelter facility. Fostering is provided in the private homes of our volunteers, who receive no compensation for their time, travel expenses or telephone calls. Many volunteers, by choice, spend their own money to provide toys, treats, food, grooming and beds for the dogs entrusted to their care. We are not a paid network, nor do we operate under any type of charitable program providing funds for veterinary care. The money that is spent on all veterinary exams, inoculations, medications, spays/ neuters, as well as life-enhancing and life-saving surgeries is derived totally from donations and our occasional fund raisers. Until we have more members and fosters our main areas are Central and South Jersey and the nearby Pa.
