Team Shaine has reassembled for 2011 to take on 200 miles in 2 days with a goal of fundraising over $50,000.00 for Test Positive Aware Network (www.tpan.org) and their community partners. 100% of the money raised goes back to TPAN to support the HIV outreach programs that thousands of people need. Over 25,000 people in the Chicago area are living with HIV, many of whom are not even aware of their HIV status. Ride for AIDS Chicago beneficiaries work with all impacted communities in the Chicago area, working to slow the spread of the virus and assure those infected receive proper medical and support services.
