Cause Description:
Teenage drug use is on the rise in the US. Legal drugs known as K2 (Recently made illegal), K3, Salvia, and other drugs are becoming more easily accessible. These drugs are life threatening and are more dangerous then some illegal drugs. I'm currently working hard to make others aware about these drugs and how it effects our youth and families. Gain valuable information on how to communicate with your adolescent children about illegal drugs, alcoholism, teen dating violence, and other relevant issues our teens face today. Learn about early detection and what to do if you suspect your child is in crisis. It is more difficult to get help for our youth so I'm raising the bar on awareness to families of teens. We need to raise money for other organizations like Teen Challenge to help families with teen drug users to get help. Teen Challenge charges over $2000/mo for their youth program and unless you are rich will you ever have that kind of money. My goal is to help 2 families a year but that would be $48,000 a year that needs to be raised to help kids get into such a program.
