English Alive Academy is a not for profit school catering for pupils aged between three and twelve based in Nazareth, Ethiopia. Its mission is to provide quality education for poor children. The school is assisted by the British charity – Ethiopian Schools for the Poor – English Alive Academy ( Registered charity number 1140681 ) Nazareth is situated approximately one hundred kilometres east of the capital Addis Ababa. The town is rural with almost all of its participants surviving on below two dollars a day. The kindergarten school was founded in 2004 due to the demand of the local community for a decent education for all children, regardless of background. An additional building was taken on in 2008 in order to accommodate the ever-swelling number of pupils.
