Mothering the Mother is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to improving pregnancy, childbirth, and motherhood experiences for all women regardless of income in Milwaukee County, and surrounding areas. This is achieved by providing educational classes, birth doulas for continuous labor support, lactation support for improved breastfeeding success, postpartum doulas to help with the new transitions the family is experiencing, support groups, and mentors all on a sliding scale. Mothering the Mother believes so strongly in supporting women that even if our services are not what you are looking for we will provide you with FREE referrals as available.
