Founded in 1995, "18 Mai" Committee, Inc is 501 ( c) 3 organization in Brooklyn, NY based at Medgar Evers College. Our primary mission is to promote cultural sensitivity via educational programmings which use and promote Haitian art, history and culture. Our program focuses on helping our students to make the connection between their educational careers, their inner desires/community. Students are afforded the opportunity to have one on one mentoring, small group instructions and monthly seminars and field trips to help them in their educational quest.
