Cause Description:
FOCUS Ministries offers hope, education, and assistance to women who are struggling in difficult situations such as domestic violence, divorce, and dysfunctional relationships. We have a FOCUS Women's Center in Wood Dale, IL which offers resources, personal lay counseling, and support groups locally, and provides resources world-wide via email and phone support, and distribution of literature and resources. Our next project involves providing programs for teens and tweens. We will educate about healthy and abusive relationships, self image, sexual purity, and their purpose in life. We would also like to provide support groups for teens. Because of the expansion of our vision, we need to have a facility in the Chicago suburbs to provide more services.
