Abingdon Theatre Company, began in July 1993 and is dedicated to the development of new American plays and playwrights. ATC development process includes a four step process: In-house bi-weekly readings, staged readings, workshop productions, and fully produced mainstage productions. Thru this process ATC developes over 50 scripts each year. Additional programs for participating playwrights, directors and actors include classes, writer retreats, and open monologue nights.
