Cause Description:
The Coalition for Successful Youth Development is a community coalition which works to change the beliefs and norms that underage drinking is not harmful. Funded through its facilitator, AzYP, the Coalition seeks sustainability for its work with youth, families and the community. We have been successful in reducing lifetime self-reported use of alcohol by 8th grades from 73% in 2006 to 53% in 2008. We hope to see that number continue to drop.
