Cause Description:
Aron is a member of the Tacoma Youth Chorus (TYC) and sings in TYC's high school age Young Men's Choir, TYC's Chorale composed of both young men and women also of high school age, and, is a mentor in the TYC Chamber Choir composed of middle school boys and girsl. TYC's musically gifted boys and girls come from communities found in Pierce, Thurston, King, and Kitsap counties. TYC's mission statement of "Lifting Young Hearts and Minds through Excellence in Choral Music" models and teaches "respectful interaction, provides excellence in performance, honors composer's intent by bringing out the best musicianship in each singer". Student's instruction is challenging and they also have the opportunity for artistic collaboration with outstanding artists and world renowned guest conductors and clinicians, through many performances and clinics in the region. In July 2011 Aron will join TYC members on an educational Historical Cathedrals Tour in the UK and France. Please help Aron and his choir make this educational tour a reality, and a dream come true.
