The West Virginia State Grange - the Order of Patrons of Husbandry is a rural family fraternity. The National Grange,which was founded in 1867, is the nation's oldest general farm organization. The Grange holds a unique position in community, state and national affairs. It is a strong legislative and educational force that promotes community programs throughout rural america. People are attracted to the Grange because everyone is welcome. The sense of community that the Grange encourages, inspires in it's members an appreciation of American rural life.
