The One World Center for Autism, Inc. is a tax-exempt 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to nurturing the social, psychological, educational, and physical well-being of over 1,100 children, adolescents, and their families living with Autism in Prince Georges County, Maryland. The One World Center for Autism, Inc. is a grass-roots Prince Georges County non-profit organization that recognizes that Autism is a unique disorder with a myriad of challenges for those living with it. These challenges include an absence of coordinated services for individuals with autism, their parents, advocates, and service providers in our county. Our organization's mission is to link those living with autism in Prince Georges County, Maryland to their world through family support, informational resources, community awareness, and individual therapeutic and medical care. Our immediate goal is to implement family support services and complete the design of a multi-disciplinary center that will enable children, adolescents, and their families to access the above services in a seamless and unduplicated manner. Provision of services in a compassionate environment, where providers and parents are partners in care and advocacy will be our final outcome
