Cause Description:
“Helping people help pets" AAD was created to better the lives of sick, injured and abused companion animals. We are dedicated to insuring that no companion animal has to be euthanized simply because their caretaker is financially unable to provide the medical treatment their animals deserve. As resources allow, AAD will offer financial assistance to residents in Orange and San Diego Counties in temporary financial crisis an alternative to euthanasia when their pet faces a treatable but life threatening condition or illness. AAD will also support the efforts of organizations working toward the reduction of pet overpopulation through affordable spay/neuter programs.
